Big Bear City Board of Directors Approves Letter to Governor
A letter to be signed by Big Bear City Fire Chief Jeff Willis and the CSD board was approved requesting Governor Jerry Brown to reconsider the decision not to renew the 10 Tanker Air Carrier, LLC contract based in Victorville, Calif., that provides fire protection services to California.

I am completely blown away that the average California resident doesn't even know about this! Calfire is telling people that they have access to the DC10 whenever they want! That it is just for 5 days @ $57,000 per day.
